The Del Webb Sun Cities Area Museum is working hard to preserve the history of the first two Active Adult Communities built anywhere in the world. Del Webb, in Sun City and Sun City West, reshaped retirement in America. He understood retirement wasn’t an end, but was a new beginning. A time for the dreams, hobbies, and interests not previously obtainable due to the hectic pace of work, family, and just everyday stuff to be fulfilled.


As a resident, or possible future resident, we invite you to join us in the preservation of this great history.


Financial contributions can be made by cash or check (made payable to Sun City Area Historical Society) and delivered or mailed to: 10801 W Oakmont Dr. Sun City, AZ 85351.
