ORAL HISTORIES

Oral histories are a valuable source of information that not only passes from one generation to the next but also improves our understanding of the past by shedding light on individual experiences. The real history is found in the accounts of common people who experienced it.
An oral history collection was started in the early 1990s and continued in the spring of 2024.
This is a continuous effort, so check back often, as we will be adding audio, video, and written transcripts.
