Our Online Collections Database is a work in progress. We are currently working to refine the search process and hope to have it completed by years end. In the mean time it might be a little confusing, but still has a lot to offer.

Reading thru the instruction on the opening page will be very helpful in your research.

Begin and end your search term or terms with ”

Webb Spinners are grouped by date(1946-1949, 1950-1951, etc.). Select a date range and open the PDF file normally. You will be able to scroll down and read through each issue. Each book starts with three blank pages so you will need to scroll past them to get to the Webb Spinner.

If you are looking to research a specific topic you can do a search by clicking the “customize and control” buttons at the upper right on your web browser. This is three vertical or horizontal buttons depending on the browser used. Scroll down to the word “find” or “find on page” and enter your search criteria. You will see how many times your search word(s) appear in the issues and your search word(s) will be highlighted on each page in the Webb Spinner you are viewing.
